‘Jews in the Middle East’ is an event series that I founded through the Danish student-driven NGO “NASIM” (Network of Academics, Students and other Interested in the Middle East) and this is our second event in the series – co-organized with Jewish Information Center, at the University of Copenhagen.
Focusing on medieval and contemporary Egypt, we had with us Phillip Ackerman-Lieberman from Vanderbilt University talking about the former and Dr. Meir Masri, on Skype from Jerusalem, giving a presentation on the latter.

04:40 – Egyptian Jewry in the 20th and 21st century by Dr. Meir Masri
